Head of school message
What a fantastic week we’ve had at nursery! With the brighter weather, we’ve been able to enjoy even more outdoor fun alongside some exciting activities. The children had a magical week celebrating World Book Day. A huge thank you to our Secret Storytellers (parents who came in to read); the children absolutely loved the surprise visitors! Our trips to the local bookshop were also a big success! Nursery School enjoyed exploring the shelves, discovering new stories, and choosing a book with their book token. Pancake flipping and decorating made Shrove Tuesday extra fun! The children had a great time choosing their toppings and, of course, eating their delicious creations.
Have a great weekend and see you all next week.

This week, we are focusing on developing turn-taking skills, which are essential for social interactions and play. A simple home learning idea to support this is playing a turn-taking game, such as a board game, a card game, or even taking turns building a tower with blocks.
Encouraging your child to wait for their turn and celebrate others’ turns helps build patience, cooperation, and social understanding. You can model phrases like "My turn, your turn" to reinforce the concept.
Success Story of the Week!

We're thrilled to share the success of this week!
The "Secret Storytellers" initiative has been a tremendous hit in all our Rooms . Children eagerly brought in their favourite books to share with their groups, creating a wonderful atmosphere of excitement and engagement around reading.
A highlight of our week was the surprising visit from our secret storyteller—a frog! This delightful surprise captivated the children, making story time even more enjoyable and sparking a newfound enthusiasm for books.
Thank you for your continued support in promoting a love of reading among your children.
